Capture the flag is one of our best games. Before the game divide up into 2 equal teams. Then designate an area with boundaries in which to play the game. Divide the area in half, and assign a team to each side. Each team is given a flag. They hide the flag somewhere on their side(half the flag must be showing). We prefer to play in the dark and no flashlights are allowed. The teams play defense and offense, by guarding their base and attacking the other one. If a person crosses over to the enemy's side, they can be taken prisoner. You are caught when the enemy grabs you, then they take you to their base and show you where their flag is. A prisoner may not escape, but they may be rescued by a fellow teammate tagging them. After a prisoner is rescued, they get a free walk back to their base. If any one disobeys the rules, they are kicked out of the game. The game is won when a person captures the enemy's flag and makes it back to their base.
