Once there was a man driving an expensive car on a curving mountain road. He was going too fast and lost control of the car. As the car was going off a cliff, he managed to jump out of the door, but his arm got caught and was torn off. (Hold arm with watch behind back.)

He sat down on the side of the road crying, "Oh my expensive car!"

A truck driver passing by saw him and stopped. The trucker asked, "Do you need any help?"

The man replied, "My expensive car just went over the cliff."

The truck driver observed, "You have a worse problem than that, your arm's torn off."

The man exclaimed, "My Rolex!"

The important thing for this man was saving his life before he bled to death, not his Rolex or car.

It's important to occasionally take a look at our own lives to make sure we have our priorities straight: God, family, and finally self.
